Another year, another Wired summit. Backed by Telefónica since its inception, the iconic annual event took place earlier in November this year. It featured some of world’s most pioneering minds each exploring tomorrow’s trends. A ‘sun storm scientist’, ‘irrationality analyst’ and ‘moonshot expert’ certainly packed a room like no other.

Telefónica’s Chema Alonso delivered a riveting mainstage talk (see Take back your data: how Telefónica is on a quest to return our information) that was extremely well-received.

A big highlight at Wired was the Test Lab in association withTelefónica. This experimental, curated space housed extremely cutting-edge, creative new inventions. It included five fascinating startups backed byTelefónica’s Open Future programme. Let’s explore each one:
