Nokia Photo Hackathon: For Young Developers – Get Trigger Happy!

By , 23 August 2013 at 11:30

So you like cameras and you spend the majority of your day trying to capture picturesque things and people who might otherwise confuse your eagle-eyed prowess for being ‘creeper’-like?  We appreciate your misunderstood skill and CP has a Nokia Photo Hackathon taking place that we think will be right up your alleyway.  At the very least you’ll get to take pictures of everything and anything around you without people wanting to file a restraining order (oh, if only they knew your pure intentions).

Nokia Photo Hackathon: For Young Developers is going to be a 48 hour competition where we’ll request you to capture the best photograph of a young developer interacting with technology!  Be ingenious and examine how Campus Party showcases new technologies – we know you’ll bring a unique and original perspective on this.  The rules are that you can use any photo style or processing system you like as long as the photos comply with the guidelines.

The competition will open on the 3rd of September and will be open to all – even if you don’t manage to register before the competition you can still register afterwards (we’re keen to see many Campuseros join and have an awesome time logging CP shenanigans on camera).

As if running around taking crazy photos wasn’t good enough, here’s another perk for joining the competition – you can get prizes!  First prize gets a whole £1000, second prize wins £500 and third prize wins a cool £250.

So get those cameras fixed up and make your own photographic memories at the phenomenal Campus Party.
